| Dec. 5, 8:00a.m. I woke up to get ready for work, getting ready to do my everyday routine. I got up and went to go feed my dog, Bandit, if you don't know she is part chow chow, part husky. When I went to go feed her, I noticed that she was leaning up against the fence, back by our shed. I called her name to come and eat, but she just stayed there, as if she were in shock. I ran out side to go see what was wrong, I noticed that she couldn't focus her eyes on anything, they kept racing back and fourth. When she walked, she could only walk to the left, she kept walking in circles, she couldn't walk to her right, or even walk in a straight path. I called my dad out, to see what was wrong with her. He said that she had a stroke, and when you have a stroke that only one half of the brain works, which was why she could only turn to the left. He also said, that when you have a stroke, it affects a part of your body, so that you can't control it, which would be why she couldn't focus her eyes. We carried her inside the garage, and called the vet. They said that if she didn't get better in 10 min then we would have to put her to sleep. 10 min passed by, she didn't get any better. So I got ready for work, and when I was done, I said goodbye to Bandit, and spent sometime alone with her. We all got into the truck, my dad driving, me in the passenger seat, and my mom back in the back seat with Bandit. I didn't go with them to the vet, I couldn't take it, so I had them drop me off at Lunar Bowl, which is where I work if you didn't know that aready. When I opened the back door to say goodbye to her, I started to cry, so I walked into Lunar, and Kevin M my manajor, asked me what was wrong, I told him. For me this was a suprise for Kevin to do this for me, but he found a fake flower plant in the Blue Moon, he got his pair of sissors, to cut it for me. Well, the plastic I guess was a little too thick, it broke his sissors, and hurt his hand, but he cut it off though. He put it in a cup, and wrote my name on it. He made me laugh when he told me what it took him to cut that flower off, and how he broke his one and only pair of sissors, just to get me that flower. I didn't think Kevin could be that sweet, but I guess he can be. So today, I bought him some DOTS, his favorite type of candy, to give to him to say thanks for being there for me, and cheering me up for work. Today, I just found out that we are getting a new 7 week old German Shepard, but we have to go all the way out to Leavensworth, Kansas to get her though, but its worth the wait!
